The CZ Bobwhite G2 is a 28 gauge side-by-side break-action shotgun with 28-inch barrels and a 3-inch chamber. It weighs 6.2 pounds and measures 44.75 inches overall, with a 14.5-inch length of pull, a wood stock and a blue/black finish. The barrels are threaded for flush-mount chokes, and five chokes from cylinder through full come with the gun. Bead sights and a tang manual safety complete the configuration.

A light 28 gauge double suits a hunter who wants a shotgun with light carry weight and a choice of chokes for different loads. The double triggers let you pick the barrel quickly, which helps when targets appear at different distances. Texas Parks and Wildlife sets the season dates each year, so check the current Outdoor Annual before you plan a trip.
